We are very proud of the diverse range of instructors we have at Evade Martial Arts. We look to ensure that all programs are led by individuals who are both hugely experienced in their particular discipline and in their ability to coach it.

  • Stuart Tomlinson

    Stuart Tomlinson is the owner and head instructor of Evade Martial Arts.

    He has been training in Martial Arts for over three decades now and is well known across the world in the Martial Arts community, thanks in no small part to his phenomenally successful "Warrior Collective".

     

    Stuart started his Martial Arts journey as a teenager with internationally renowned instructor David Breed.  Having earned black belts in Freestyle Karate and Kickboxing he then went onto training regularly in Muay Thai, Freestyle Wrestling, MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

     

    Stuart coaches regularly at Evade and is the lead instructor for the intermediate / advanced level classes in Freestyle Karate and Kickboxing for both the cadet's and adult's programs.

  • Christian Knight

    Christian Knight has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Steve Campbell of Stealth BJJ for over a decade.  In this time he has not only achieved his black belt in this illustrious martial art, he has also competed successfully on international level events such as Polaris and Grapplefest.

     

    Christian coaches regularly at Evade and is the lead instructor for the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program at the gym.  He coaches both the intermediate/advanced level Gi and No-Gi classes, and is also available for individual or small group private tuition.

  • Michael Ward

    Michael Ward started training with Stuart Tomlinson at Evade in Kickboxing as a young teenager and is now currently a 3rd Dan black belt in the art.

    Hugely passionate about martial arts, fitness and strength training, he is also one of the most popular instructors at Evade Martial Arts because of his humour and highly polished technical ability.

     

    Michael coaches regularly at Evade and is the lead instructor for the Beginners programs in Cadets Freestyle Karate and Adults Kickboxing.  He is also the main coach for all Fight Fit and Fitness based training sessions. He is also available for individual or small group private tuition.

  • Sam Scott

    Sam Scott has been training in Martial Arts since a young age.  After earning his Black belt in Freestyle Karate he has gone onto becoming a hugely experienced and popular coach at Evade Martial Arts.  He has competed at a local and national level in Kickboxing and Freestyle Karate.

     

    Sam coaches regularly at Evade and is the lead instructor for the all the Little Ninja's programs at the centre, as well as the intermediate/advanced level Freestyle Karate classes for adults. He is also available for individual or small group private tuition.

  • Georgia Kinder

    Georgia Kinder has been training in Martial Arts with Stuart Tomlinson at Evade since she was 10 years old.  Since gaining her black belt, she has competed both nationally and internationally in Kickboxing.  She started coaching 6 years ago and enjoys both the Kickboxing and Freestyle Karate programs.

     

    Georgia coaches regularly at Evade and leads a selection of classes from across all the ages and ability levels we teach, focusing primarily on the Little Ninjas and Ladies Only programs. She is also available for individual or small group private tuition.

  • Emma McAnulty

    Emma McAnulty has been training in Kickboxing with Stuart Tomlinson at Evade since she first started her Martial Arts journey many years ago.

    Alongside her black belt in Kickboxing, she is also a keen grappler and regularly competes in Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA.

    Emma coaches regularly at Evade and leads a selection of classes from across all the ages and ability levels we teach, focusing primarily on the Adults and Ladies Only programs. She is also available for individual or small group private tuition.

     

  • Chris Cluitt

    Chris Cluitt has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 7 years now. A purple belt under Eamonn Madden, he has competed multiple times in both local and national level grappling competitions.

    Chris coaches regularly at Evade, focusing primarily on the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu programs at the gym.  He is the lead instructor for the beginner level Gi and No-Gi classes, and is also available for individual or small group private tuition.
